2] The system is hazardous waste free and therefore as no hazardous waste disposal costs associated with it. The cost to dispose of hazardous waste is spiraling and it there are strict legal requirements on companies use produce hazardous waste with regards its disposal.
3] The system uses renewable energy sources and can develop up to 15% of its energy requirements through this source. As energy is the single biggest environmental issue facing the print production industry this makes inroads into the cost base and environmental impact of the product.
4] The system is low VOC through the use of vegetable based inks, low VOC washes and reduced IPA (Industrial alcohol) use.
